Tangles of flowers and seed heads on my August walks.
These paintings were done with varying combinations of pen, masking, watercolour, opaque white and splatter. I did a free online course awhile ago with Louise Fletcher…..she is easily found on Facebook and Instagram. It was really good and she stressed that you should enjoy your painting….well I really enjoy doing this sort of work. I like the experimental aspect and mark making but am thinking also of composition. I would like to think the paintings have some depth and a lead into the picture from the foreground.
